Stella von Cundry is a gorgeous 6-7 year-old Lab mix. This is one well-educated dog with a special, unique look. She will arrive at her new home house- and crate- trained, and already knowing various commands including sit, down, stay, leave-it and wait. She loves toys and balls and is good about being groomed (after all, a girl's got to look her best at all times).  Stella's prior owners describe her as sweet, sensitive and in tune with them.  She can be shy with new people and prefers that she approach them at first meetings versus the opposite; then she warms up quickly.  At the rescue she has been quick to be won over with a treat or two and petting. She is of medium size with medium energy. She walks well on a leash, staying close to her handler, and even enjoys walking in a pack of dogs. meeting every one of them politely.  She joins canine playgroups with a wagging tail and a smile on her snout.  This wise and mature girl is dreaming of being adopted by a wise and mature family.
